In this hotel / restaurant you can eat very well and delicious. There is a manageable selection of mainly German dishes. The quality of the food is correspondingly high.

A wonderful stay. It tries to read every wish from the eyes. All in all, I would give 5 ***** stars and more for everything. One little thing made me a little sad. Our wedding day was ignored, but a birthday was congratulated at a table and a champagne was donated .. but we will definitely come again!

One of the best houses in town! In addition to the very good and always friendly service, the excellent food and the tasteful ambience stand out. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant. I felt very comfortable and think that this quality is second to none. A straight one in school grades. It couldn't be better.

Did not earn 4 stars for me. Room not nicely decorated and flaws in my room which should not be. No storage space in the bathroom and broken furniture. Over the wash basin a soap dispenser, so that you could not even use the washstand properly.

Feel comfortable and leisurely

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate and it is not too crowded so it is really cozy and you can really enjoy your breakfast. The food in the evening was just as good if not better. If you half board to book you will be more than paid. Thus, I have been able to offer my girlfriend a wonderful birthday, that the hotel has again organized on request a beautiful bouquet and a very nice evening menu created. I am looking forward to the next visit to the Sauerländer Hof.

It's been the greatest pleasure to be a guest here. Perfect blend of classical architecture and modernity. But above all I appreciated enormous hospitality of the owners and the staff. I wish I could rank the 6th star :-)

We stayed two nights. Hotel is very nice, there are rooms 'in' the hotel but also across the street. So if you stay there you have to go outside if you are going to breakfast, which is a minor inconvenience. The breakfast is of high quality. My suggestion to the hotel is to also serve espresso and cappuccino

Excellent service and nice personnel! Great food and clean rooms

Nice and very clean hotel. Great dinner and a big selection at breakfast to choose from. Good start base to hiking spots and nature. Only negative point is not all staff members speak english. Pictures are view from the back of the hotel.
